Line Marking Brisbane Australia

Brisbane Airport Link - Clem 7

One of the most complex road and tunnel engineering feats in Queensland’s history, the $5.6 billion Airport Link Project connects the Brisbane central business district and the Clem Jones Tunnel to the East-West Arterial Road which leads to the Brisbane Airport. Undertaken by alliance company Thiess John Holland, the first major motorway linking Brisbane city to the northern suburbs and airport precinct will also be built in conjunction with the Windsor to Kedron section of the Northern Bus way in approximately the same corridor. With 6.7km of free-flow toll roads, mainly underground is scheduled for completion in mid 2012. Thus 3 in 1 project will be constructed for efficiency and better value for the State. Commuters can expect the journey to and from the airport to be faster, less congested and safer, with less stopping and starting, and the exclusion of up to 18 sets of lights and travel time savings of up to 17 minutes.
